Brief info
Her passion for acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) began at a young age. Sherry was shorter and thinner than normal kids her age. She struggled with her appetite as she was unmotivated to eat. Her mother decided to send her to her friend’s acupuncture clinic. Sherry received the Tui-Na treatment called “Nie-Ji”. After 6 months of treatment, Sherry gained a normal appetite which positviely impacted her growth and developement. From that time, TCM became fascinating to her.
Sherry's areas of focus are pain management, digestive conditions, infertility, women’s health conditions, emotional and mental health, facial paralysis, stroke recovery, and more. She also has rich experience with cosmetic acupuncture.
Sherry is both a registered acupuncturist and massage therapist. She graduated from MacEwan University and earned her acupuncture diploma with distinction. She has also completed 2200 hours advanced therapeutic massage program.
She utilized variety of advanced therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques, such as neuromuscular treatment, myofascial cupping release, trigger point and acupressure treatment, joint mobilization, pre/postnatal relaxation, lymphatic drainage and therapeutic hot stone treatment.
Sherry is enthusiastic and involved with a variety of activities. She is practices and performs Zumba and Cha-Cha. She also spends time practicing yoga for stretching and stress management, as well as gardening.
