AudreyLynn Fluet, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
My journey in massage started in my early teens when my mother would ask me to massage her back at the end of her day. In 1986 a friend and I travelled to Australia to witness Haley’s Comet, he was insured while body surfing. Eighteen months later this same friend and I had travelled to Europe and each time he hit a cobble stone, his back would go into spasm. This inspired me to take the first level of massage thru Grant MacEwan in hopes to help my friend. To further my massage education, I attended the massage program offered by Alberta Institute of Massage, which I graduated in 1992. In 2012 the insurance industry updated its required level of education for massage therapists to be recognized and remit payment for insurance purposes. Since my education was over 20 years old, I decided to enrol in a 2200 hour program offered thru MH VIcars School of Massage Therapy in Edmonton, which I graduated in May 2013. The types of massage therapy that I offer include, relaxation, deep tissue, therapeutic, craniosacral, lymphatic drainage with tuning fork. Also speciality massage incorporating tuning forks for calming anxiety nervous system balance & well being, motivation - this one is recommended to be done earlier in the day as it can interfere with sleep and chakra balancing. I am so grateful for all the events that have brought me to the point in my life that I am at now and look forward to serving my clients to the best of my ability. Thank you for that opportunity.
